We have discussed this and with first hand experience even with higher klm motors you could see better figures on standard valvesprings. Throw injectors on and keep pushing until valve float prevails and you would easily see shy of 400rwhp, valvesprings in and would sit around that no worries, even with factory cooler/intake 
The let down with the falcons is the tall first gear, they really need a converter whereas the commodores get away a bit better with std gearing/converter.
