Supercharged HSV?

I don't think that arguments stands up.....check out New Zealand AMG pricing & you'll see what I mean....quite simply, in Aus...we are RAPED.
Also....Forgot to ask....is everyone sure this is a 150 unit limited run run...why would that be?....I reckon that they'll sell 150 VERY quickly if the stated pricing is correct. I've also heard that HSV are having difficulty in sourcing the required number of engines?

I have been posting info on here about this car for 14 months or so. It has intentionally been criptic on many occasions.

750 is a pretty decent build. They won't be hard to find in the used market if they sell them all

Over what time period? A year, or remaining life of VF which would hopefully be at least 3 years. From memory I think the W was 137 produced in less than a year?

250 a year for 3 years from Bouka's hints. Doesn't sound like there will be an upgrade to a supercharged version of the LT1 at some point...

I have hinted incorrectly if that is how you interpreted it.

I don't know what happens after this GTS. You would imagine something similar but with new engine of equal pedigree. They would have to or drop GTS cos the bar has raised. Strategy in bringing back clubbie (seperated from clubbie r8) was to position GTS as hero car.

I was thinking the numbers discussed would be more likely approx. 12 months or so. Given history with E series from 2006 to E2 in 2009 (but with 6.2 in 2008), E3 2010 effectively forced on HSV with the VE II Commodore, and now F series in 2013. If the VF has only maybe 4 years to run you would think a new engine would have to come in before the end of 2014 if not sooner given the engineering work and recouping costs over the remaining life of the car.
