Very few people will do that. Most people will have their SV6 or SS at stock ride height and stock wheels. So we need to judge it on its merits as delivered, not on what could be done by throwing more money at it.

For sure only a very small percentage of owners mod cars and also lowering is not an option for everyone be it because of access problems or warranty, insurance legalities or whatever.

My opinion is only directed at how the car currently looks which is ordinary and how a car person could work it.

In other words, the car doesn’t look great but it could be made to look better.

The car is aimed at the enthusiast or discerning market so to speak, not mum and dad. Holden have basically conceded that market to the Japs.

Performance and luxury is their new direction.

If I was to buy one of these, I would do it with an eye on personalising it.

Personally, red stripes or no red stripes, I wouldn’t want it either way if it had to sit at that ride height.

Even down to the subtle side vents appear to come from Jaguar IMO.

The Jag vents are nicer... though it could be that they're not silver...

Ian Callum, the designer of the Jag XF, is said to be a great fan of the VE proportions. He also did the body kits for the VR-VX HSVs. The new XF-RS has drawn a few comments that it looks like an HSV. Seems like a bit mutual appreciation for each other's work going on.

I wonder if the Launch Control is for the Auto or Manual Transmission?
