Evoke and Calais interior look too similar. You should be able to distinguish the two more easily and be able to step into the Calais and be a lot more impressed than the base model.

As is the case for the VE variants.

Well i agree somewhat but that change happened with the series II upgrade of the VE i noticed that they were very similar looking.

It's a good thing for the budget end, it'll get more bums in seats hopefully.

The SS-V Redline sounds like a cracker of a car for the $$$

SS V Redline now starts at $51,490 for sedan, a roll back of $6,300. Redline adds Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning and Head-up Display on all body styles as well as the premium Bose® audio system and sunroof on sedan models.

SS V Redline is the ultimate in rear-wheel drive sports performance with Brembo® brakes, forged 19 inch alloys and an updated sports-tuned FE3 suspension package.

“The Holden engineering team is really proud of what they’ve been able to achieve with Redline. VF Redline also has wider rear wheels for extra traction and includes competition mode with launch control and track settings for the true enthusiasts who participate in track days,” Mr Brook said.

“We launched the Redline range at Series II and it’s been a huge success. Within two years it’s carved out a spot at the top of the ladder as the absolute best in luxury, sports performance.”

Don't worry about the glove box lid, how many years have they had those side mirrors?

The centre console lid is carry over from the VE, When the VF was unveiled Holden said that was one of the few carry over parts in the interior.

I wouldn't mind if they at least did a convex driver's mirror. I've contemplated getting an LHD RHS mirror for my car but probably won't get around to it.

The ssv redline is a lot of car for the money. With launch control, brembos, staggered wheel size, forged 19's, Bose etc etc the gen f HSV cars better have a bag full of tricks. Especially since the HSV price will probably stay unchanged.

Did anyone notice in Drive article the options list prices $500 for spoiler on SV6, SS, SSV and Redline

Edit, spoiler also lists as standard equipment, so must be two different spoilers, I was thinking they had made the spoiler optional with VF.

    Not wrong.

The Redline is easily the pick of the bunch.

I'll be looking to buy one second hand in a couple years time
