yeah just because its 100k you can not fairly compare this car to an amg. It just doesn't work. For starters one is built to a price cheap and then propped up.....and the other is built with a far better budget with a far higher price range for the class of car you are talking about.

Fair enough if your cross shopping.....but that means I can straight compare this to the JAG or the JEEP v the HSV. Meh...doesn't work.
Its seems starange to me that so many items have been picked up by people who havnt even seen the car in flesh yet though. That's a worry. First round lemon syndrome maybe....

I dunno, let's compare it to a $20,000 Japanese hatch which are put together pretty damn well without strange gaps around the headlights and bonnet.
The little AMG I'm looking at is also cheaper than the GTS by about $15K
Fair point they are hard to compare as the GTS is much bigger, more room. The CLA is a midget in comparison.

Garth reckons it`s zero degrees in the video clip , but the gauge is showing 11 degrees, in the above pic..........The VF electrics are not off to a good start ....

It was started and given a rev or two when I saw jk and it no different to the current GTS. Of course you need to hear it on the road and under load to make a proper judgement but nothing great. The gt sounds awesome when revved and better at open throttle under load.

There won't much supercharger noise at all.

I'm liking what I see with the Gen-F. Considering upgrading the GTS, unfortunately it's only 18 months old ... but "I just want one" still works for me. As nice as the new GTS looks I'm considering the Gen-F Senator ... my wife drives the HSV 90% of the time and I really don't think she needs 430kW to take the kids to school. She doesn't even need 340kW for that matter! I must be getting old, I really like the understated look of the Senator ... plus I've never had a Senator before!

Haven't decided yet ... when I get a little quiet time with work I'll go and visit my favorite dealer!

Put my money where my mouth is today.... White manual with Roof. Delivery about October maybe November... Will make a nice birthday present to myself... Bit disappointed about no paddle shifters..... But what do u do... Maybe if I had studied harder at school I could'be bought a C63 but I'm living within my means these days. I like to think that this GTS will BE the bee's knees! Happy Days ahead.

Sounds OK ... until you compare it with this, surely HSV can do more with the exhaust note!
