Agree, not sure where the bad image came from. Maybe the earlier cheaper model Holdens that you could get more from on overseas cars at the same price or less.
Today performance models are quite good value esp now with all the extra features for less.
Holden Large cars have room inside, don't really use much fuel for the performance (eg the mps mazda is 10/100ks city about he same as a good tuned V8). 4wd use more fuel and cost more to run, Suv's not all that cheap to run and roll over when hit in the sides. All the rest are front wheel drive basically crap for track work. Who knows..same as people today tend away from a good TV series with a story today, everyone like Reality shows, which to me are reality shows are quite dumbing to watch. I prefer a complex story to make me think, rather that 5 mins of info stretched out to an hour by repeating what they said before, suspensive puases etc.
Well were not goingto change the minds of the dumbed down majority today about what practical and good value. Holden will probably be gone too along with Ford if the trend continues
Like to see the UK Top gear stuff on the GTS

This GTS will have crap thrown at it similar to the GTR, until it out performs or matches its European target market.
HSV have gone the same route as Nissan...putting a great package (hopefully) at 1/2 the cost of it's European rivals.
Not only does it have to perform as well as the E63 and M5, it also needs to 'feel' as good when inside.
