I have been through the factory several times but it was the first time for my boys. My eldest wants to be an engineer and we got a brilliant access to the factory including in depth explanations and a no holes barred tour. Phil (the big kahuna) and Mark ( Operations Manager) gave him one on one time and encouragement, which was very much appreciated, and we also got a look at HRT workshop.

They have both been through the FPV factory a couple of times but this was on a different level according to them. My boys said that the interior was classy and elegant and they both noticed the difference in exhaust note from 325kw to 340kw set ups.

As if that wasn't enough, they got a really good look at the gts, both stationary and otherwise and some Tander signed hats and full gen f range posters.

Again, my sincerest gratitude. I know why I am a frequent buyer and more than likely will be back to the brand (Phil, your little digs did not go unnoticed).

And the gen f range looks great in all colors!
When do we get a supercharged Senator?

I can't see them doing it, Alex. If you option the small spoiler etc there isn't all that much difference really.

I have heard a rumour there might be another LSA variant but it won't be a senator... It may even be able to break a nordschliefer record...

We have discussed this at some length Alex, and as you know I asked, begged and pleaded. The answer is the same now as it was then.

Have you ordered the gts yet?

The trade in value I was offered on the gt suggests it will be a long time before I order a gen f.

Aw Bouka think with your heart and not with your head! Would love to see the new GTS or Vauxhall (insert name here) variant do the ring.

After driving an R8 SV the GTS is the most amazing value for money.

I am not too concerned about trade value. But I am concerned about what I want. I want a supercharged Senator SV430 now!

If they want my (and other orders) to compete with E63 and M5 they better make one.

GTS with lip spoiler is as good. Not a senator but closer than ever before and not much compromised between the two.

E63 is a great car, it would want to be at 2.6 times the cost. It isn't much better. And the price drop on the GT would be laughable when comparing depreciation on the e63.

You have the right mate. No way I would ever pay 250k for an E63 just out of principal because its an utter rip off. I compare all my cars in US dollars based on the US price and Euro price and stuffed im going to pay the rip off prices for an E63 in Australia. Its bad enough paying 100k for a GTS compared to the corvette price in the US.

Re: Supercharged HSV? - Part 2

When I was talking to Phil the other day, He said that Gen F Senator was the best car they'd ever built.....probably said the same to you Bouka.
The interior of these cars is amazing....MILES in front of previous models.
I've sat in the GTS, & I've driven a 340 R8. I reckon that whilst a S/C Senator would be good, once ya're in the cabin, particularly on GTS, with all its "driver aids" ya're gonna forget what model ya're in...because EVERYTHING is there.
GTS is not only the best car, but IMHO, it's also the best value, when you look at all its features...AND THE ENGINE?DRIVETRAIN, of all the cars ever produced by HSV.....geez, it's only a few grand dearer than the 25th Anniv GTS?? (but that was a "Sticker Special").
And with some of the Euros possibly gonna take a "Hit" with the dollar going down....GTS for some, should be even more appealing.
Can't wait to drive one.....not that ya'll be able to find out much in Suburban Melbourne?
    Cheers, Pickles.

    Love the ad.

Wish my car sounded like that car, and wish my voice sounded like that bloke's voice.

Can't wait to see a comparison between the VF GTS and R35 GT-R. Reckon it will be an interesting matchup to say the least.
