It was feedback from the Salesman (and today? "The car has not changed in the status we get so all still the same at the moment" - so not even being built at Elizabeth yet (much less HSV). Do not understand why I cannot get a build date!!?!?!?!

Are you VF guys finding delivery times to be quite lengthy? We ordered a Cruze SRi in the last week of July and we're looking at mid-October delivery now (11 weeks). Apparently there is high demand for the SRi/SRiV models at the moment so it may just be a Cruze thing.

you might be getting stuffed around. ask for printout of the milestone history so you can at least see its status printed out. Mine has now been built, was built august 12th and shipped to HSV. estimated delivery date is now sept 4th.

We'll use the E3 for another 18 months or so and replace it with something HSV then ... the SSV isn't expected to do much more than 5,000 kms pa ... looks to represent outstanding value and the extra $20K for an HSV doing those sorts of kms didn't make sense!

Still 10 September at this stage. Which is wonderful because I will be in Japan and not back until the 20th ish. I am thinking of getting letting go of the E2 next week (safety cert Thursday) so I will transition from a manual 07 diesel Rodeo dual cab to an auto GTS. Should be no problems.

Is it correct that the first GTS' come off the line at the end of this month? I ordered a GTS around the 20th June and was advised delivery some time in November.

Seems GTSs will start being delivered from the 12th of Sept (here in Brisbane at least). Kind of glad mine is not the very first one in the dealership (how many Kms is it still considered a new car?). Don't really want anyone driving it but me.

I asked that question of Holden once and they said up to 100km is acceptable. Occassionally they take a vehicle for quality control and can clock up these kms.....

I wouldn't be happy if it was my new car though....

Definitely not! 100Km is further than a drive from Brisbane to the Gold Coast!
