Were you there? It was a 981.

What does it say on the stickers on the mufflers Mick, in particular the red bit ?
Nothing special, just Batch number, part number and MY14 Sedan Bi-Modal LHS Rear and a picture of a red sedan.

The exhaust pipes are 21/2" feed from the front and 21/4" into the mufflers. Looks like all the HSV sedans use the same muffler? Nothing specific about the GTS on it.

The spare tub is open at the front where it has been cut to clear the sway bar and rear subframe and also open at the rear. If you poke your head up beside the muffler you can look straight through.

I tried to take another couple of pics of the diff and cooling system but there just isn't room to get the camera in and take a shot. I have a nice close up of the diff back casing and exhaust pipes though.

Perfect Blue is a fresh take on a colour used by Brock in the 1980s ...
THE fifth anniversary of Peter Brock's death has triggered a surprising tribute from Holden.
The Holden hero known as Peter Perfect is being commemorated in a new hero colour for the company's top selling Commodore. Perfect Blue is a fresh take on a colour used by Brock in the 1980s when his HDT Special Vehicles operation was at the peak of its powers and he was still a regular winner at Mount Panorama. It was sprayed on the HDT SS Commodore in 1984 and has been reworked for 2011 with metallic highlights as part of a limited-run colour program that began with a bright gold called Tiger.
"We've been doing hero colours, particularly on sports models, for a number of years. They're obviously attractive to customers that want something different, something a bit more extroverted," Holden's colour expert Sharon Gauci says. "We designed Perfect Blue around Peter Brock's colour. We went back to the archives and this was perfect."
Brock was killed on September 8, 2006 when he lost control of his car during a road rally nearly Perth in Western Australia.
The blue is fine. Like my redline is white and my first choice for the GTS would have been white but now ive had my white redline for a while i seriously would probably get blue if I ordered the GTS now.

"We closed the line for a couple of days so we could catch up on outstanding reworks. (parts shortages ect)

This has delayed vehicles on the line by a few days."

When I last spoke with them, expected delivery to dealer was latest by today, now they are adding a minimum of a week. As I was going to be away late last week/weekend even talked about not delivering to dealer till last Monday, so it wouldn't be sitting there.

Who cares about delays,.....even for a few days(if ya're lucky),.....as long as the car's "right", when you receive it, you should have no reason for complaint,......this coming from someone who's had to wait for six months for a car, & from someone whose wifey is waiting a similar amount of time for her next car which is on the opposite end of the spectrum to a S/C GTS?.....but we still gotta wait.
    Cheers, Pickles.

Agreed I'm not to stressed orginally a 4 month wait cut back to 3 , so it will be when it will be.... I just want it be right and none of the issues others have had

Re: Supercharged HSV? - Part 4

No problem with waiting for a car, and of course I want it right. I had a deposit down in April so I knew I was always going to wait.

What is annoying is I privately sold my previous HSV based on a quoted delivery date, which has now blown out to what appears to be around 4 weeks. Organised insurance, financing etc.
