I know APS have had some success with the Edelbrock Blower with something like 365rwkw on a stock engine. I was looking into this a little while ago. It would be worth calling them and having a chat.

Haven't nailed down a decent tune on mine due to a bunch of teething issues with my combination but it did make 300awkw @ 3500 rpm before I noticed some tard (me) had forgotten to disable Tq Management in the Trans....

Don't have the figure handy as I'm away from home but enough Tq that after the first pull they shut it down and added 3 more straps to the dyno, Quiet until you get hard on it, I ran a normal belt at first and it was a bit noisy, changed to a Gatorback and the noise went away.

Mine is on a 402 with everything optimised for mid range so it's a bit of a weapon even off boost, on boost seamless pulls to my 6800 limiter, I have a small pulley so it's the factory max 18000 Blower rpm @ 7000 Crank and makes 10psi to 5000ish then 12 psi to redline due to the long port runners.

Viable alternative just not sure on the pricing being newer Tech so not as heavily discounted.

    Such as?

Can't see them having any more issues than any other form of FI, my problems are all due to the car being an AWD VZ and being stuck with the earliest E-38 OS in the ECM, if it wasn't for that the Tune would have been completed long ago!

I really like the fact they're direct drive with no Jack Shaft extra pullies and belts, long runners make for great low to mid range grunt where most road cars spend a huge majority of their time, and to me the understated look is a +.

If you could stretch the $ to the new Heartbeat I'd go for that for the newer Tech but the Stealth is still a good performer!
(Someone awhile back posted a vid of one making 494RWKW which is pretty respectable)

Im getting a supercharger for my VF have seen the details of the Magnuson but im probably going for the FDFI2300 from Harrop because of the shear engineering experience and history and respect Harrop has in Australia. Another option is the 2.9 wipple but I think its going to be easier overall with the Harrop. The wipple will come into its own I guess over 13 or 14psi but im very unlikely to need that for this car.

Ummm ... The guy that designed the Harrop HTV range is no longer there. He now designs the Magnuson products, including HeartBeat.

The heartbeat would seem to be the best option on the market at the moment IMHO.

8-9k for a blower seems really good, compared to what a Head and Cam package would cost.

Also, I think Harrop now has an arrangement with Ligenfelter in the US. They have some great developments and products so will be interesting to see what Harrop offer.
