    Exactly right...the VERY last.
Production will end in 2015 after 67 years of production. Believe it or not but there are some common part numbers current with the very first 1948 model & the current one!
    Cheers, Pickles.

..hehe...Ermmm....don't think so Pickles. But makes a good story.... I used to own a very early one, about a '52 80"wb, and a later 110, plus half-a-dozen Rangies, and I can't think of a single part that could possibly be common....at least you'd certainly hope not....
But sorry to spoil your story...

You haven't spoiled my "story" at all.
Check your part numbers. There are rear outrigger chassis parts that have EXACTLY the same part numbers.....strange,.....but true.
    Cheers, Pickles.

It is known as "Keswick", a bit of an "olde worlde" colour.
The roof colour is "Indus Silver". NOT AVAILABLE in Aus!! So, to cut a long story short, after communication with Landrover in the UK, we got our silver roof, ....it is a "one off" according to Landrover UK,...the only one in the whole wide world!
ULR, our Melbourne Dealer, have yet to fit driving lights, crash plate, chequreplate, towbar, etc!
    Cheers, Pickles.

I need to find someone in Melbourne who can install Dynamat soundproofing & carpets....But I gotta find the right person to do this, someone who knows his way around a Defender.
    Cheers, Pickles.

Must have been the day for Land Rovers. My wife signed up for a Range Rover Evoque this morning. Indus Silver no less. The one in the pic was one they gave us overnight to get a feel for it.

my first ride in a schmick new 110 found myself wondering if we were being shot at!!! stones hitting inside of mud guards... i believe there is a solution for that.. some sort of material plastic liner etc....
