I used to own a very early one, about a '52 80"wb, and a later 110, plus half-a-dozen Rangies, and I can't think of a single part that could possibly be common....at least you'd certainly hope not....
But sorry to spoil your story...![]()

A grumpy old bugga who has been there and done that...
Nice colour
sound deadening material on floor and tray is a big must do item i believe. as is some sort of lining in the muds guards or spray underneath...
It is known as "Keswick", a bit of an "olde worlde" colour.
The roof colour is "Indus Silver". NOT AVAILABLE in Aus!! So, to cut a long story short, after communication with Landrover in the UK, we got our silver roof, ....it is a "one off" according to Landrover UK,...the only one in the whole wide world!
ULR, our Melbourne Dealer, have yet to fit driving lights, crash plate, chequreplate, towbar, etc!
Cheers, Pickles.
Mate, VERY VERY TRUE,.....you obviously know what you are talking about.
I need to find someone in Melbourne who can install Dynamat soundproofing & carpets....But I gotta find the right person to do this, someone who knows his way around a Defender.
Cheers, Pickles.

Must have been the day for Land Rovers. My wife signed up for a Range Rover Evoque this morning. Indus Silver no less. The one in the pic was one they gave us overnight to get a feel for it.
