Adventra Front drive shaft oil leak?

I have recently got myself an Adventra and am very happy with it for daily duties, but it has a a slight leak I need to fix, The Left hand front drive shaft seems to be leaking oil from the inner cv boot where it fits over the cup? Its not to a point where it drips on the ground but is spraying a bit around the area.
Am i right in thinking that it must be leaking in from the front diff up through the spline into the cv? without pulling it out I cant see anywhere else it could be coming from,
everything on the engine is clean with no visible leaks??
    Cheers
    Greg

There's no Direct path for that to happen Greg, the CV "should" be packed with HiTemp Grease so shouldn't leak "oil" but if someone has repacked it with gp grease it might thin out when hot, Are the steel straps still on the CV Boots?

Thanks for the reply, the steel clamp is still in place but, but if sound like it might be a good idea for me to take it out and repackage it, are they difficult to remove?
    Cheers

Not hard but you do need a BIG Socket for the Hub end, sorry can't remember the exact size and I'm not at home to go and look...

The Straps can be a bit of a PITA to get back on as they require a special tool.

Thanks IJ, you wouldnt happen to know what tension the nut should be done up to, Im guessing by the size on the nut as tight as I can do it will be enough?
Does anyone do a workshop manual for the adventra other than Holden
    cheers

    Stage1 130 Nm
Stage2 Loosen until nut is loose
    Stage3 200 Nm

There is a manual available on DVD through Holden Greg.
