Nick the funds might be approved, but you will need to change over to a MAF and get it ADR'd before this will truly be the Best Coupe of all time in everyone's eyes.

I liked the hybrid idea you mentioned and remember ... if I can help with the "stuff" let me know and I will speak to my mates at BOC.

I reckon the outcome will be awesome especially when you consider the European race car influence and track based orientation that may result.

Not just thinking about it mate ... the decision has been made ... but it won't be supercharged at this stage.

Why am I doing it ? When I started on this in 2006 there weren't many turbo V8's around ... I could count on one hand the ones that I knew of in Sydney. Now every hero has a turbo or two ... I'm just over it and don't want it on the car anymore, simple as that. This setup has run absolutely faultlessly since it was installed, nothing has broken, nothing has gone wrong and it has run a 10 on street tyres. I couldn't be happier with what we have achieved ... now it's time for something different.

I have discussed it with Sonny and we have a plan ... might take a while though, I'm not in a rush and despite the strongly held views of this forum I believe that good things take time.

Anyone know if it is NickS's old car? Called up the dealer and from what he tells me it is, but he couldnt give me the build number as the car was at his warehouse.

They got it from a guy in Vic who traded it on a Supercharged E3 GTS. The front rotors were rooted so had to be custom made and replaced. He said that Harrop told them they are the only set they have ever done. So that would mean that it is NickS's.
But we all know how much a dealer will bullshit you to sell a car.

Anyone know if it is for sure?

Definitely NOT my old C4 ... the guy that bought from me still owns it (only spoke to him a few months ago) and doesn't use it much, it had 14,000kms on it when I sold it, unlikely to have much more than 20K on it now.

Also, mine didn't have a 5.7, it had an LS3 when sold, red calipers, no supercharger, different exhaust tips and it sat lower.

Pity ... at $50K I'd probably buy it back if it was my old Coupe, not with 130K on the clock though!
