About three weeks wait and check to make sure you get the right bits in the kit, available as above through Greg at Pace Performance, NB this is not called a 6L80 Camaro pan filter kit, as it has the Caddy CTS-V wide mouth extended pickup / filter.
Smoother changes under load now, happy:

Thanks pir4te. All very helpful info. I look forward to receiving your extra kit when it arrives

I reckon a few in here might be interested in your helmholtz solution to cure drone. Maybe a new thread with some detailed instructions and some pictures??? That's if you could be bothered

Yes, all you need plus the Dex VI of course, that's the expensive part! Solves so many problems that I recommend reflashing the gearbox tune to standard (or 2011+), drive around for 1000k only then consider flashing a heavily modified custom trans file if required because this makes a big difference to the actual apply pressure and shift speed versus commanded. ie it works properly as commanded. Also the full flash and relearn resets accumulated crap artifacts from the T43's memory. Can show before and after video results for
Also be sure to reattach the magnet underneath.

Yes, I thought I was definitely up for a new 6l80e, and of course when I asked expert tranny guys whether I should give them $3500 or is mine fixable they insisted there was no option and that I should put all the money in their pocket ASAP. However this worked for me 100%, all you need is the pace kit above plus the Dex VI of course, that's the expensive part!
Solves so many odd problems that I recommend reflashing the gearbox with standard 2011+ tune file (VF owners never complain about the tune BTW), drive around for 1000k only then consider flashing a heavily modified custom trans program if required because greater supply of fresh cool fluid makes a big difference to the actual apply pressure and shift speed versus commanded. ie it drives properly as commanded launching, turning, or transitioning fwd-rev.
Also the full flash and relearn resets accumulated crap artifacts from the T43's memory for a clean slate. I have before and after video results with telemetry in favour of the case to use stock (or near stock 2011+) file versus wildly modded values. PM me.
Also don't forget to reattach the magnet underneath.
