TPG home phone with multiple outlets/sockets

Hi

I am thinking of switching my home phone to TPG service; currently, I am with Telstra and have 3 working outlets/sockets from one line (one number).

Does anyone know (or have switched to TPG home phone service) that they can use multiple outlets/sockets with TPG ?

If you already have an in place Telstra service, TPG won't even set foot on your premises.

Do you have a DSL service as well?

Are both having the same number (one line in) ? And did you have to re-run the wire for the outlets or just re-used the existing wire ?

If you've already got the ADSL with them there's nothing to even think about. Give Telstra the flick on the landline and you'll get the whole lot for $79/pm

If you supply your own modem (which you obviously will since you're already with them) you can get it all on a 6 month contract (with modem is minimum 12month).

All that happens when you change the provider from Testra to TPG is someone different sends you a bill, no physical difference to your line.

Same as changing electricity providers, half your lights don't stop working do they?

No absolutely none. If your ADSL was with Telstra you could have potentially had an issue if the TPG DSLAM at your exchange was full and you couldn't change over, but since you're already with TPG for the ADSL the phone line part of it is a no brainer.

No absolutely none. If your ADSL was with Telstra you could have potentially had an issue if the TPG DSLAM at your exchange was full and you couldn't change over, but since you're already with TPG for the ADSL the phone line part of it is a no brainer.

All service providers have to guarantee to the first outlet. Telstra would have been the same.

That is because the first socket is the network boundary in a premises without a NBP such as mdf or ntd. All other cabling/sockets is your problem. No difference wether you use Telstra or any other provider.
