I was dead set on getting a new Jeep SRT as my daily (3rd kid on the way, and the triton is a bit narrow in the rear), and leaving my GT in the shed as the weekend car. I couldn't justify the 85k nor using the Jeep daily (main concern is our crappy car park at work), it's too nice!! Ended up getting a brand new top of the line diesel territory for 44k. The savings will go to renovating the house. Still keen on a Jeep though, and i'll probably get one down the track.
The SRT's look absolutely awesome, such a beast of a thing. I did consider an overland, but at 70k, i figured the territory will do the job for now, plus the 7 seats will come in handy. The Jeep is the nicer car in every single way, but with 3 kids to make a mess of it, i figured the terry will do for now.
Enjoy the Jeep for those that have got one, they're a awesome looking car, and the engine combinations (hemi or diesel) with the 8 speed auto is awesome!
Hey Guys.
Just Seen this thread,
I have a 2014 Jeep SRT. Love it to death.
Weighed up this vs a new R8 wagon and the SRT won hands down. So many more features and its just brilliant.
Has to be one of my best cars i have ever had.
Even looks good with my vx behind it on the trailer going to the track!
Have fun
Marc

anyone going to try and get one for 10k?
Wouldn't mind, but I am wondering what area it is, and would you need a 4WD to get there. Very interesting promo. The only definite clue I've seen is that it is near one of the oldest mining towns in Australia. I was thinking Broken Hill or Kalgoorlie, but I suspect it's not that easy. There is a map on the app that showed Broken Hill in the upper part of the map, but is the map anything to do with the actual location? It looks like a red dirt area so I don't think Victorian goldfields like Ballarat, and it is called Remote Dealership.
you download an app, they have a countdown clock , when it hit's zero they give out a distance from you and the remote dealship's number
the first 10 to commit get the jeep , but pickup is at the location and only for one day, the 26th july
Damn I want the srt8![]()
So what sort of fuel is being used by these behemoths? Thats a few kg of car and running around town stop/start driving couldn't be cheap? Just curious...
They look smooth (not a fan of the all black look sorry, black on black needs lots of chrome 4 mine) but unless you can write the cost off, and some running costs they're a pricey item huh?
22l/100km quoted off the brochure I think?
