600rwhp would just be a tune im guessing. If you used custom brackets to bring your existing accessories to the right spacing, fitted it yourself and used the factory pcm you could do it pretty cheap.
I'm just trying to work out the most logical route to go. Currently I have an LS1 engine with only 71,000kms with a 220/220 112LSA cam & 11:1 compression ... so not exactly ideal for a supercharger. So I'll need another set of heads, different camshaft, pushrods etc and then the motor still isn't purposely built for a supercharger. Cost would probably be in excess of $15K.
That is why I was thinking that the LSA could be a better idea as long as the height issue is easily rectified.
Then if I go the LSA route, I'll have an engine that is built for the blower & I could sell my engine for a couple of grand & still get of it for less than $20K...hopefully
As far as I know the square port blowers only come with the ls3/ l77 etc offset which is close to the block. Older vt- vz commodores accessory drive is further off the block so you would have to use a cathedral port 2300 Maggie or similar.
Would be a killer combo on a ve but I'd be nervous with a stock bottom end
Edelbrock E-Force/Harrop Stealth Force can work with the VZ offset and Square port heads![]()

Ahh yes good point, but not a deal breaker. Could fab up a longer pulley assy if need be. . The stock bottom end can hold a fair bit. 2300 blower on a stock ls1 has been done before. Good tuning is what keeps them alive. Your right though it would be getting very close to lsa money. It's just I'm not a fan of the tiny 1900 blower on the lsa.
Just put the blower on.
Just because it's got higher comp doesn't mean it can't take boost.
220/220 will work fine with it. You'll still end up around 500, maybe 550-600 on e85 if you can run it and be reliable as anything.
How much power do you think you'll need and how fast do you want to go? 500 is a nice level for a VT-VZ streeter.
Not sure why some people give the LSA shit for its 1900 blower. Its got awesome response being a lighter mass and im making 740 rwhp with mine how much more do you want.
