How to "Like" a post

Hey, just wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy, but I could have sworn I used to have on option to "like" posts. I can not now find this feature anywhere, but I still see some posts being liked, after some quick investigation all the likes were by validated users. Does one need to be validated to 'like' posts or am I just missing something?

I havnt really met any one from here yet. Probably will soon though when I get back from where I am now in Nov some time. Mind you Ive bought some stuff from a few people that seem to lurk around here!

Seems its confirmed now that only validated people can like/dislike/thanks.
