No I don't work for Holden, you still don't get it do you fella?
You bought a used car from a Toyota dealer not from a Holden dealer & it is now out of warranty.
There is no story there, you just did not understand about when warranty starts and ends.
That is not Holden's fault, heck they might even help you out but that would only be out of their goodwill, they certainly don't owe you anything.
(You can only hope nobody from there is reading the unfair bagging you are giving them in this thread.)
My first post was only trying to make sense out of what you wrote in your very unclear first post
& trying to help work out & explain your very obvious misconception, there is absolutely no need to get so precious about it.
Yeah nobody is stopping you from going off to the Ford Forums, you say it like it's a threat, do you think I care?
They will be far more sympathetic about someone who wants to have an unfounded whinge about
Holden customer service & you can suck up all the sympathy you seem to crave![]()

, maybe not ?I am done with this crap whinging thread now
Great behaviour from a Mod, what are you, 12 years old ?
The whole idea of the thread was to warn people about how warranty works on a demo car, not everybody is as bright as you, I actually thought it might help someone.
Again, the trim on this car is not up to standard of a 70K car, not even up to standard of its original incarnation, a taxi.
Note, the fishing pole after the comment about the Ford forum, maybe you're not that bright after all.
I don't give awhat Holden think if they read this thread, they rely on people buying their cars, not the other way around.
You are correct on one thing though, the original post was not clear on how old the car was when I bought it. But you keep going on and on about buying an old car from a non-Holden dealer which is irrelevant as the car supposedly has 3 years warranty on it even if you buy it from jo Bloggs down the road 2 years and 11 months into the warranty. The point I was hoping to get across was that a demo car won't have 3 years warranty from when the 1st owner purchased it.
And congratualtions, I am now completely over this crap thread too.![]()
