Why no unique build number on the console plate, surely making only 50 would have been simple.

The LSA in a limited edition Senator is a no-brainer. But let's not do anything to get sales up, just stick on a badge or two. Cos marketing is about fancy badges, not engineering.

Pricing wise, I would have thought an LSA Senator be more expensive than the GTS? making the exercise a bit moot.

Hence why a lot of enthusiasts have moved on....

Don't get me wrong, I understand why they put the LSA in the Maloo. There are a lot of cashed up guys in their 20's earning decent bucks in mining who would be the envy of their mates rocking up with an LSA Maloo.

Sadly HSV seem to have abandoned their core supporters for a quick buck with the Playstation generation.....

Why so? $100k isn't that much these days. I'm pretty sure most middle aged guys could afford another $20k for something that gives both style and go. Not everyone wants to look like they've just jumped out of an Xbox game.

I like it...Nice wheels anyway. A LSA option would have been nice but I guess if you want a LSA just buy the GTS.
    2011 VE HSV R8, W375 , Manual....

Senator is the best looking HSV of the lot. These wheels dont do it for me though.

Hopefully they bring out a numbered GTS-R / Walkinshaw / Group A type beast with the almighty LS9 sitting firming in the chassis rails... and only make a few of them.

Those wheels are a carbon copy of the F10 M5 wheels, I'm guessing someone got a good deal... A bit plain, and don't really suit the car, IMO.

    Re: HSV release tomorrow

LOL at people actually thinking HSV would do something worth talking about.

In other news that is worth a mention is LS3 and brembos all round for last of series SS, that's a rumor to start spreading
