I'm hanging out for the 2017 650Kw GTS .......... Regardless if you wait or not there is always something better just around the corner. What happens if you wait and these "rumours" turn out to be a dud, just like every other time prior?

Time will tell Plenty, I nearly pulled the trigger last year but good things come to those that wait.

I have always hated this saying. When you wait, you miss out on the here and now. Yes you will get something newer, but by the time you get it, you have missed a great deal of time enjoying something else.

It is usually said by procrastinators!

In this case I don't mind, as I'm building a house as well so the funds are coming in handy, but should be in a position by October/Nov to jump into something new.
The old SV8 still puts a smile on my face every time I jump into it, so I'm not missing out!

I agree... otherwise I would not be driving a new Holden made V8 manual wagon
Simply not available any more and if I waited until Feb-March 2015 as I was originally
going to.. I would have been stiff.

    I am not into procrastination

Hey John, 126K and running as good as the day I bought it. A couple of niggling things, like windscreen washers not squirting, aerial doesn't go down the last 3 inches, dents and scratches from city carparks, the usual stuff on a 12+ year old car. Clutch is getting close, but it's the original so can't complain...

I had a VY SV8 and loved it to bits. I got the Holden By Design body kit which gave it a bit of flair over a Commy with a rear spoiler look. I've never seen another one with that body kit. Had to sell it but pined for the LS1 6 speed fix ever since. All sorted now with the CV8 more than filling the void.

I too had a red VY SV8 with HBD bodykit, bought brand new March 2003. That was the start of my Commodore V8 love affair. Since had 2 VZ SS sedans, VE SSV sedan, VE SSV ute and now VE Senator. Probably 200,000+ km in total and not one more than very minor mechanical problems.
