    Cool.

My understanding is that all LS blocks have the same exhaust manifold bolt pattern so you should be sweet as dude. Torque for those bolts is 15 ft/lbs from memory.

I have a genuine set from a VE clubsport (LS3) in my shed which is in the for sale section right now, they're cheap

I have to ask why? A lot of effort for no gain. You want series 2 pipes if you're going to put anything on.

What the guys are getting at is they're not much of an upgrade over the cast manifolds so not really worth the effort..

IMHO Even if they were free it would be a waste of time fitting them.
Have a read of the old favorite thread I kinked below, check out post number 5 ......

Now, for sure there could be some better stuff on the market than some of the other brands listed but
you can read exactly how the old early genuine HSV headers compare to the stock manifolds from Holden back in the day
& there are plenty of other comments worth reading in that thread also.

If you get the S2 long 4-1's cheaply they're certainly worth putting on. Have a nice note with a bit more power/torque everywhere.

The exhaust shop had to open the inlet on my cats when we did this.
