Don't forget you need the windscreen from the GTS to use the HUD, that is of course unless the donor wagon is SS-V or Calais spec.

I had my windscreen replaced last week (VF HSV), the bloke doing it said the screen itself is no different apart from the rain sensor and lane departure module, I thought the HUD was just a reflection on the correct angle?

he also said the VE and VF windscreen is different, VE is narrower on the bottom sides for some reason?

Enjoy the build! Cant wait to see the end result, will be very envious!

(pretty sure most of the modules in my Tourer are all in the wheel arches, the profile in the boot is different to my old VE wagon.)

So I bought a damaged VF SS Wagon today minus motor and gearbox. This will give me everything I need to finish parts wise. I just need a body now. So if anyone know of a super high k be wagon that is going cheap let me know. It can't be damaged or a repairable write off.

You should have posted that advert in either the "Worst Badges Ever" or the "Joke of The Day" threads.


He's looking for a good wagon that is cheap only due to having a lot of kms on the odometer, the 879,000kms would have been a typo
