can hear it, final drive ratio change

Helping those acceleration figures are revised final drives, which change from 3.45:1 in the manual to 3.72, and from 2.92:1 to 3.45 in the automatic.
i'd change the 3.45 in the auto to a 3.27 if i buy one. been there done that.

Never thought about the change in our auto SS, but the 3.7 in a manual is a great mod

    I agree with this comment.

On another note does anyone know if the all the series 2 VF's are going to get the new front bumper bar? I was told off a friend that the Evoke will remain the same, just wandering if the SV6 will remain as well?

according to the RBA Inflation Calculator (http://www.rba.gov.au/calculator/annualDecimal.html), the 2014 equivalent price of the VB is $54,742.92. not much difference!

Only the sports models get an updated facia. SV6/SS/SSV/Redline.
Evoke & Calais facias remain the same.
Calais/CalaisV get new badging on the boot.
CalaisV/SSV/Redline Sedans also get new taillamps.
All the wagons also get new taillamps.

I think this is the SV6, as no SS or LS3 badges:

Re: VF Series II IS HERE

just read the VFII story in the October issue of Wheels. Interesting tidbit - Holden's customer database includes around 1.5million Commodore owners. Holden will be targeting these to make them lust after the VFII.

    Thanks Holden for the upgrade
Evidently Brembos aren't an option on SS or SSV, there is a performance brake option at $350, they are front only, but not Brembo. I picked this up from JC website, some of you will probably recall TimandHayley posting on here in the past. It was TimandHaley that posted this on JC website. I thought $350 was too good to be true for Brembos. I would assume if they aren't Brembo brakes that the standard wheels probably won't clear Brembos should you upgrade aftermarket.
