ISOFIX is designed to reduce the loose seatbelt issues associated with traditional child seats. the ISOFIX is a solid "lock in" fastening and will not loosen over time. The top tether is still required as that is what secures the backing or top of the seat.

i agree no cd player anymore or dab radio whe ford has them at least have them as an option
still no manual wagon so much for listening i want a V8 manual wagon to match my ve special edition and hsv don't do one any more because that would be my option.
for all those people who say a manual in peak just DONT know how to drive, i drive for a living and won't have an auto too dangerous ofr me, you don't get sore legs from pushing in the clutch or tennis elbow from using the gear stick.

you have to wait for them to change back to accelarate where in a manual you put your foot down and instance response

Only if you're in a lower gear to begin with. if you are cruising along you wont be. Autos slaughter manuals in rolling accelaration tests unless the manual is in a ridulously low gear to start with. I drive a manual and the one bug bear is precisely this, whereas in an auto it kicks down and you're away. Either that or you drive along the highway in 4th or 5th guzzling fuel revving the engine at 2500-3000rpm.

    Cheers, Matthew

I bought probably the last ever HSV R8 Tourer made with a manual trans.
Have lost count of the number of V8 manual wagons from Holden that I have had (...since the late 70s) and when Holden nudged HSV and said no more
manual wagons (Tourers) this time last year (HSV press release late Oct2014) I found only 3 left. In the space of 72 hours after that press release..2 had gone
so I haggled hard and got the 3rd one. The one I bought had a September '14 build date...

car companies and auto mags conduct rolling acceleration tests .. either with autos or manuals... starting with the same gear.

The test is... whether a transmission can be in the correct gear coming out of a corner. An auto most likely won't be
until the foot goes down, it senses the road speed and required acceleration and then chooses the correct gear.
A manual vehicle will be, if driven correctly .. that is, the driver selects the correct gear for the corner.

Having said that, I (unfortunately) know some drivers with manual vehicles... who just don't bother.
Turn into a side street in suburbia?... yep leave the trans in top gear

Have they stopped putting a shift lever in Auto VF's?

If the laggy Auto shifting is "dangerous" it would suggest someone is cutting things way too close to be safe anyway..

Shift lever and you can opt the flappy paddles for extra quick shiftage. The autos are pretty nice in the VF's anyway. Rev matches on downshift and everything.

Drove the redline this afternoon in a manual and its real good. Sound of exhaust, handling and power is nice. Also tryed a clubby to try the paddle shifts.
The redline makes the clubby very quiet in comparison
