I wouldn't say I'm great with money but I'm not totally stupid either.

Find yourself a good detailer and your car and wallet will love you for it.

Agreed. Skip the dealer and find a good detailer that will correct the paint and then use something like Opticoat or Gtechniq for long term protection

Don't get any of the dealer options. I went with the opticoat option that I organised myself and so far I've been happy with it.

the dealer paint protection etc is waste of money. If youre Brisbane based, check out this bloke:

When i picked up my VF redline, i booked it straight into this guy. Does amazing work. Here is a before/after for my VF.

let someone else waste the money, or atleast go ex-demo.

I have done a lot of late model commodores including a VF that came literally straight from the dealer to me.

Check out CAD automotive paint correction on facebook for photos etc. Obviously only useful for people in Sydney.
You can walk or run but I know how to FLI

I will be calling you in the next few days mate. Just need to get the dealer look at a small paint issue on the back bar / fascia first.

Man that looks brilliant! I am getting Heron White as I like a white car, plus it always looks clean even when it's dirty. Ball park price for your VF Redline if I may ask for the paint protection package?

its just professional detail from the guy i mentioned in my post, not any kind of specific 'paint protection package', and nothing dealer-related etc

Just found out, cost cutting by Holden. Now only 1 horn instead of 2 for VFII. VF1 and VE had 2 (and very loud). Must save at least a couple of cents on every car!!!!
