    Thanks guys, these are the only photos I could find but its all still in the build.

    Many expenses spared though, I try to diy as much as possible, from surge tank, headers, trans mount, wiring, abs relocation, custom dash etc etc

    Any yes currently on super sports but thinking of dropping to an 18" wheel before it hits the road again (y)

    Lightbulb MEESEN - ECU Side 4L80E Relay Mod

    ECU Side 4L80E Relay Mod

    Found a lot of tutorials over the internet to do this exact mod but I thought I'd have a go at simplifying it all a bit for those interested

    Ensure when cutting wires to leave enough length to join to them!

    C1 = Green/Red Connector
    C2 = Blue Connector

    Eg. C2-23 is Pin 23 of the PCM Blue connector pin 23


    2-3 solenoid (Reversing action)

    • Cut C2-47 (Yellow/Black)

    Relay:
    85- Wire hanging out of C2-47
    87A- Trans side of C2-47
    30- Ground
    86- 12V+
    87 – Not Connected


    TCC Lockup

    • Cut C2-2 (Brown)
    • Cut C2-42 (Tan/Black or Grey/Red)
    • Cut C1-79 (White, Grey or Green/White)


    Relay:
    85- Wire hanging out of C2-42 PCM side
    86- 12V+
    30- Wire hanging out of C2-2 PCM side (Brown)
    87- Trans side of (White, Grey or Green/White)

    Remaining wires are taped up and no longer used

    What does this mod achieve? The info is probably out there everywhere but I haven't heard of it.

    Basically the 4L80e Relay mod allows you to run a 4l80e trans with a 4l60e (segment/tune)
