    turbo killer cam info

    Anyone have the turbo killer GM Motorsport cam or street racer cam in a ve ss? Driveability in std gear manual, idle quality ect

    Are you asking for your car or someone else's?
    The TK is bigger than what you removed not so long ago....Pretty much the biggest you can fit in. Something around a 237/243 from memory. Tolerable to some but probably not yourself going from past history

    Basically on a manual with stock diff gears something like this has no drivability or idle quality. It will be fine for general driving but don't expect to tackle traffic or carparks with it as you'll either fry the clutch or hop it everywhere looking like a tool.

    Very big cams are really for weekenders or race cars only. I daily a 232/234 114 LSA camshaft (so it's relatively tame to drive with the wide separation angle) and couldn't even fathom doing it in city traffic or driving in peak hour.
