I flushed the trans with new fluid and swapped the pan filter at the same time too just to be safe.
One more question mate, what influenced you to upgrade the stock converter in the first place?

Only if you have time mate, was just wondering if it was driveability related or anything similar to what I am experiencing

Read the codes that the car has been giving yesterday. Same one each time 556 Brake booster pressure valve. Going to buy a new one and give it a shot next week.
Seems to be a few on the G8 boards that have seen this issue before on blown cars.

    Re: VE Engine Light

Is that because the brake booster isn't getting adequate vacuum from wherever it's plumbed in to on the blower or an issue with the booster itself?

Not sure mate, I am hoping it is the switch that is faulty.

    Re: VE Engine Light

Doubt very much Brad has piped this incorrectly! The booster requires constant vacuum on any condition & could only be a sensor out of range fault or possibly a small Vac leak.

Any luck Rod getting the problem fixed? Hopefully something trivial and not too serious.

Hey mate. Car has been running a lot better with the new sensor in, but not going to bet a few k's into it before I start celebrating lol.
Does definitely need a small stall though I reckon, so that will be in the cars future
