Probably not a factory colour unless it's been Photoshopped a bit to look different

Closest in a VZ would be Fusion but can't see it looking like that under that lighting

Agreed, I don't think it's a regular factory colour either.

IMHO it looks like 1970's "Yellow Cabs" orange.

Thanks guys, it's got me kinda stumped. the closest factory colour I could think of was ford Octane Orange.

Anyone have any other thoughts? perhaps it's a factory ve vf paint.

    Possibly Fantale from the VF?
Still doesn't look right but that colour can look quite different depending on the light

    Thanks JT,
I also have this link for a VF orange. I think it would look close in low lighting.

Yeah, I thought it could be Devil Yellow filmed under orange lights using some sort of photo editing?
(That's the closest possible colour I could find, but it still looks way off!)

But the picture certainly looks like it's had some sort of enhancement/editing.

    A Ford colour?

I reckon you might as well phone "Yellow Cabs" & get their old paint code!

    Re: Mustard VZ clubsport?

Thanks white lie, I've collected some pics where fantail looks really close. All the professional photos I look at seem to be a bit doctored. The closest colour I found was ford octane, but geeeze, that would be blasphemy wouldn't it!
The last factory colour I was able to come up with was Torque by holden. it was used on the last Monaro every made to be sold in AUS. But I didn't find its paint code to spray a test sample.

Sounds like a fun toy Stephen.

Why not leave it the original factory colour?
