I have never been to Bathurst for the 12 hour but would like to get there in the next couple of years.

Back in December I went to the mountain to do the hot laps in the older V8 supercar, awesome track & can't appreciate this until you drive it, these cars were speed limited though & hit approx. 200 down Conrod.

I've driven (only as tourist rd, so 60kph!) around Bathurst both ways several times,....what a track.

I'm going this year.

I went last year for the first time and loved it.

The Bentley sounds awesome, as does the Merc. Very similar sounding cars, they just sound like they arent even revving past 4000rpm!

I dont know if they will be there again this year, but there was two Mustangs last year that were the loudest things going around...they were unreal.

Walking the track and pit lane on the Friday night was pretty awesome too, Id definitely recommend the event to anyone who'd like to see the mountain but without the cost and crowd of the supercars event
