    Defensive Driving Course - Advice

Last question ...... sorry to bombard you all.

My treasured daughter turns 16 very soon and will start to drive. I'd like to give her a good start behind the wheel and get her into a defensive driving coarse.

Any one out there have any experience with a good mob to turn to in the Melbourne area (there are heaps out there but I want to make sure I get the right one).

Once again thanks to the trusted crowd I always turn to for advice.

    Cheers,

    Franga

I did the Driver Dynamics Defensive Driving course, then their Advanced Driving course, both in 2014 and then their Beginners Drifting course in the Senator in 2016, all at Sandown. I have nothing to compare to but to me they were great! Did it to try to prove to my neurologist I was still a safe driver.

    ... indeed!

I myself and most of my tribe (partner, kids and their kids) have done the various courses offered by Murcotts

I started this caper yonks ago .. after one of the boys Saturday nights down back of Clyde where I ummm... miscalculated and removed
several hundred metres of roadside fencing by going to a day with the 'Bob Jane Peter Brock' driving school at calder
(but this no longer exists obviously)

    but
then over the following years, I have done the standard 'defensive' car control course.. followed a few years later by the 'advanced'
then High Performance 1 (taught to various ' protective security and police drivers) and HP version II.. for the race track.

Further, I have given my neices and nephews gift vouchers to Murcotts for their 18th birthdays, last one was 4 years ago

There are others around ( I did a 'fun' car stunt course with Driver Dynamics for the 60th) but the family have all commented
on how good the Murcott courses have been

I have also sent a few 'wayward' company car drivers there (since getting the Fleet Managers hat 10 years) ago... all have
    clean no incident records since

    my 2c
