Yep, as much as I love the look I reckon I will be purchasing some matching SL springs for the rear.

Springs also often "settle" after a week or so I think it might even sit a bit lower.

Yes I had thought about that lol. Definitely the case from previous experience. Shame, as it rides quite nice and I love the look. Just not keen on going through the hassle of getting defected over something so trivial.

Interesting, I thought the SL's would sit lower at the front. My Kings lows are sort of like that, maybe they will settle further over time?

Re the rear: I have a feeling that rear end ride height will prove way too impractical to live with every day. Time will tell.

    Car looks great though overall.

Yes, I am hoping the front stays just like that but like you say will most likely settle a bit. I can live with the rear as it only gets light duty a couple of times a week and biggest payload is a couple of mountain bikes and an overnight bag for me and the wife. I took it over some pretty crap roads yesterday out in the hills and had no issues at all, I was holding my breath expecting bottom out or the ride to be crap, but was uneventful.

Going great Ed. Been loading it up the last couple of days whilst we move house and it has been fine to my surprise. I am going to stick with this height and see how it goes as I love the stance and can live with it so far

How it sits with a modest load. About 200kg of bark chips. Actually rides better loaded up. The exhaust is still there as well lol.

    Observation... No load...

    200kg of bark chips...

With it sitting on the bump stops in the rear while unloaded and loaded, it can't sit any lower...

    Who needs suspension travel...

Out of interest, what is your ground clearance at the lowest contact point ?

Re: Another Holden in the Family :) - Part 2

Well, got thrown a bit of a curve ball with the seats, and cannot believe I did not notice, but I have a Series 2 drivers seat and series 1 passenger seat. Now that it has been pointed out it is so obvious in back rest and head rest. So no leather kit for these unless I can source a single matching seat. I am still getting the carpets installed by Spencer Trimming and I might get him to look at the base of my drivers seat and see if he can replace that piece of leather as it is torn and been repaired by a 2 year old I think lol.
