take a VERY good look at that photo... its famous

it shows the start of a very well known incident at Sandown... Spencer Martin having a brown undies moment
when his front brakes experience total failure .. at the wrong spot! End of the main straight. He did pull the handbrake though ...

*not often you see one Challenger in Melbourne 'burbs on a weekday
but 2?.. very uncommon. These were both a left hooker and RHD convert

and destroy a Camaro too . This ..a great pic shows the FX boys in the film Vanishing Point'
have just set the explosive charges off in the sacrificial Camaro

One of my best mates has a 1970 highly modified stroker Hemi Challenger.

The Challenger would absolutely destroy my Corvette Stingray in a straight line.

I think this street legal, fully engineered, LS1 powered, Morris Minor "sleeper" could drop a few jaws at the traffic lights.

It is an Adelaide car but he gets around a bit.

I think it is a 2 door Galaxie (but they also had a few USA model 2 door Fairlanes which looked similar so it could be one of those?)
