Yeah, certainly see a few idiots driving them way to fast to be able to pull up in an emergency
especially for when the roads are wet.

Almost seven years after car giant Ford shut down the Falcon production line at Broadmeadows in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, a Victorian-developed vehicle has won 2023 Drive Car of the Year.
The Ford Ranger has become the first ute to win the prize in the 18-year history of the award.
geez, firstly this lot don't even know what this is. It ain't no ute, its a truck (with the momentum of one as one of our reps found out yesterday when the new owner of one
ran up his 'ar*se' while stopped at lights. ZB wagon that is about 60cm shorter now than it left the factory (might have to look at a new one, will depend the insurer VERO)
but
the new owner (he got it Monday) told our driver.... "sorry mate didn't stop too well did it".
Right yeah! at 2230g (dry, just under 5,000 lbs!) you just gotta push the pedal harder, way harder!
and then the media call it 'Car of the Year' ... just what are these blokes smokin'?

I was going to start a thread on this!
When a tractor wins “car” of the year, it’s jumped the shark.
"If you're gonna do it wrong, you might as well do it right" - Darrell Waltrip
probably only won because it was probably the only new car you could buy that you didn't have to wait 9 months to collect
I'm not a hoon, I'm just competitive
