a BCM for a 6l VZ Clubbie should be an easy swap (physically).. the only naffy bit will be the security side
which any ex Holden servicing dealer (as you say) shoud have the gear and knowledge to sort that
even if the PCM has a tune it (the comment about the 'one' bloke in Brisbane makes me suspect that)
it should not cause an issue...
a new BCM won't be cheap but ...
