You should see the money making emissions charges & crap rules for driving a vehicle in London.

This stuff is out of control.

A scheme that will surprisingly enough target those people in middle lower and lower class. You know, the average punter, those who can barely afford the 900+K for a 3 bedroom home in Charnwood, surely can't afford to update to the latest EV.. and will be slugged more $$$.

I paid $1100, predicted is $1653. Rego for my work ute is up $550 for next year.. $550 ####ing dollars. For a 10 year old Colorado. I'm going to make it roll so much diesel out the pipe that it makes it worth this idiocracy.

just to be clear this is about the ideology of ACT Government politicians rather than the public servants.

the pollies think everything electric will save the plant.

In the ACT, gas connections and wood heaters will be banned from 2045 and sales of new fossil fueled vehicles banned from 2035.

Nothing has been said about the fact that this lack of competition will likely result in higher prices.

I'm still waiting to find out whether I'll be paying for the petrol or LPG emissions on the Senator. Would be nice if they took into account the usage as well.

6.2L V8s might pump out a few emissions but when it only gets driven a handful of times a year? Only 14 years until club rego!

That is a fair point.. what about cars that do <1000kms per year and like mine run on E85! A sustainable fuel made from plants!

They will probably make us go and do emissions testing to prove it.
