I've just been reading about the soon to be released Audi RS E TRON Performance, which comes with 680KW & capable of 0-100ks in 2.5 secs.
Can't see myself ever owning an "EV" vehicle, but I wouldn't mind a steer of this one, just to see what it felt like.

The new Lotus Evija X EV crashed at Goodwood today. Speculation is one of the 4 electric motors might have failed and spat the car sideways into the fence

That looked like a savage snap and probably lucky it happened at the start. Imagine if it was a couple of hundred metres later at a rapid pace.
