Ah ok, I can't see that image. The car looked just so "BIG", I thought it might be a 770. I've been to the Fox Museum & I've seen a black 540 there!

an old Porsche of course, a very old VB Commodore done up as Brockys
Round Asutralia car which played up so much Day1 its parked somewhere

but even stranger, as they approach the Alice today (Day 8 out of Mlebourne)

pull up at a servo on the highway..... a bloke in a 2CV doing Perth - Sydney via Darwin
as you do !

I think the "tribute" VB may be owned & run by a member of the HSVOC (Vic), possibly the person with his back to us in that image!

Never owned one, but I did have a ride as a passenger in one in the 60s., As I write this today, I can still see the long, vented bonnet through the windscreen, as we drove along Bell St. Preston!
