We've got our worst badges so now we should celebrate those that venture out onto our streets in their cool rides.

First cab off the ranks is this methanol slurping Hemi that scared the bejesus out of those on Chapel Street on a Sunday afternoon.




Next was a bloke this week that was challenging the city streets in a cool 80's lambo.




And finally, today in Williamstown an authentic piece of Aussie motoring history an Allan Moffat special.

Great car, great color. Said to be a pretty "complex" vehicle, but I once heard it said by a "Mercedes person", that He had no problems working on one as there wasn't much "electronic/computer" stuff on them, they're pretty much "mechanical"?!

know 2 people here in Melbourne who have/had them.

One of them, an old (older than me) guy had one in his bridal rental car business but sold it when he scaled back when COVID hit

the other? a young (40s) sibling to one of the owners of the previoius company company I worked for, Oliver had a meticulous mechanical mind
... taught himself to work/service a strange array of vehicles incl his beige 'Grosser' he called it. A long wheelbase 600..
and
thought this was the epitome of English auto manufacturing (yeah, he bought it without an engine as pictured)
