Was 'banana' even a colour option on VU's or has it had a respray?

    Respray's come up real nice.
Looks like it could've been stock colour ay
    Couldn't have been cheap.
What'd you pay for the full respray?

    Re: The Ute Gallery

We actually bought the ute as it was from a Holden Dealership brand new. They basically took a standard ute and turned it in to a head turner, and the good thing for me was that everything was covered by warranty.

Whilst I can't give you a price on a respray, I can tell you that we paid an absolute arm and a leg for the ute! Far too much now that I am thinking about it reasonably, but at the time we were blinded by her beauty and had to have it at all costs!

I cant tell from that pic, but is the interiour done also by holden, or are the guages/dash surround the same colour as the hyper ones come?

The interior was custom yellow and black leather but she was sent to an external company, it wasnt holden themselves that did it. The dash was monaro.

    Re: The Ute Gallery

Thanks mate, it does the job looks wise for now I guess.

Its got stock shocks still(thought I may as well use them till they're slogged out completely)
    Springs are:
KHFL-47SL in the front (soon to be SSL)
KHRL-46SSSL in the rear (soon to be compressed an inch)

In that pic there's about 30-50kg (guess) in the back which has sat it about 1/2 inch lower than normal. I hope soon to have the back about 1/2 inch lower than that pic, and whatever the SSLs drop it to in the front.

This is my old ute, sold it about 6 months back and miss her dearly.
It had a CAI, full stainless exhaust with ceramic coated 4 into 1 extractors, LS1 Edit mafless tune and Bilstein suspension with Eibach springs.
Also had leather interior and was an automatic.

Those wheels are different, at lease there not chrome!

I would of sold it too, the problem exists in this word - Automatic.

That with a 6 sp would of been a pretty nice ute!

I already had 3 manual cars at the time and was travelling 4hrs + a day in traffic, shouldn't have let them recalibrate the transmission when the edit was done because the changes became crap after that.
