Re: Show and Tell: What bike do you ride??

I'm currently riding a 03 Cagiva V Raptor 1000 V2, Stainies, power commander III and 114rwhp. Can't ride proper sporties as after an hour it feels like you've been in a pub fight, two sprained wrists, punched in the kidneys and kicked in the nuts. Thats why I went for the Raptor, it goes stops and handles like a sporty but you feel like you're riding a trail bike.
Also got a KFX 400 quad for the dunes.
Love to post some pics but don't know how. Any help?

My old man use to own a Suzuki Katana 650 (shaft Drive) with a fully rebuilt motor, that thing went pretty well. It had a bloody nice ride.

Re: Show and Tell: What bike do you ride??

Previously had gsx1100, HD wideglide, haven't hd one for a while. After some indecision on getting new bike, i finally decided on cruiser over a racer, mainly cos it would be more comfortable for the missus. But after looking have found there's alot of good cruisers available - thinking Suz M109 , Yam warrior, HD fatboy (6 speed) - any comments? Anyone had a Buell?

    Finally got the pics happening.
Funny you know, the first time I saw one I thought, thats the ugliest bike I've ever seen! Don't know how it all happened but I'm in love.
If it were a girl, she would be the one with a nice personality and big tits!!!
Apologies to any female members, just get carried away with my bikes.

Re: Show and Tell: What bike do you ride??

I had OPPYLOCK (my brother) con me into buying a road bike, so I went out and bought an '04 Kawasaki Z750, he told me this would be good bike to learn on as I had never ridden a road bike and didn't have a licence.
Needless to say I sold the bike with just 800km/h on the clock before I killed myself, just got to 200km/h way too quick, I'll stick to 4 wheels.
How do you guys keep your licences on these things?

    Currently have a YFZ-450 ATV.

Live in the NT is a good start Home to Darwin in 1hr 45min on average, and thats 330k's at around 180~200km/h in the SS though. No good for the bike. Tyres don't last too long on straight roads up here. Usually squared in the centre, with the new tyre knobs still on the sides. 4000k's out of Pirelli's isn't good on the wallet...

My most recent 2 wheel adventure was a Kawasaki Vulcan classic with the 1600cc donk, and a set of Cobra dump pipes.

Harley looks, Harley sound, Kwaka performance.

The missus put a premature end to that spurt of fun though.....

I saw a corner in the NT once. Just head straight for six hours, you can't miss it...
In all seriousness, are you using dual compound rubber? 4000k's aint a hell of a lot.

    Don't forget reliability as well

should've taught your missus how to ride as well

Both my missus and I ride
    between us we've had
Yamaha Zeal 250 - this is the bike my missus learned on
    Honda VTR 1000 F - mine
    Honda CBR600F - hers
    Yamaha R6 - hers
    Suzuki SV650S - mine
Suzuki SV1000 - we shared this one

now without a bike due to baby coming along
but looking at the Triumph Thruxton soon

P.S. how do I upload photos
