How do you find the handling on the TL. I rode my mates a couple of times and it nearly killed me. Seemed like it wouldn't turn in and when it did it was a bastard to pick back up again. He said he didn't have a problem and that it was always like that. We put a little more tire pressure in it and this helped a bit but it still felt like it had a mind of its own.
Great power delivery from that awsome donk!
I love the bike, mate.I don't think I'll ever sell it.
It is harder to turn in than most sport bikes these days, but once she's cranked over, she's rock solid stable. You do need a bit more body english to ride the TLR,but it's just a matter of getting used to it.The engine is awesome,as any V-twin owner will tell you.Enough power to be exciting, but not enough to get you in trouble like these new missiles around now.
I had a track day at Barbagallo on Sunday and had an absolute ball!!!
The TLR makes a better roadbike than a trackbike though, and they sure do stand out in the crowd.![]()

Got the same engine in the Cagiva although only the S spec, single port heads and cams are the only difference I believe. Fell in love on the first ride!
Its a good bike, had no probs with it & its great up in the twisty bits.
Just got my license back after a 15 year rest from bikes. Bought a new Kawasaki GPX 250R a month ago and am very happy with the little fella. Goes well and is obiviously ridiculously good on the juice. Intend giving it to my son next year and getting myself a Honda CB 1200 or something similar. Nothing like being on 2 wheels again!!

One question. Being riding dirt bikes for 10 years, never touched a decent sports road bike before. As I'm getting older and with the drought making group rides not as fun anymore I'm thinking of throwing the leg over to the asphalt.
What bike and where should I start?
That is a question with many variables. Size, brand, style, colour...the list goes on. Everyone will tell you how good their bike is, and they probably have some merit to them all. Final decision...
Test rides, magazines, talk to people with a variety of bikes...it's yours to make!
Good luck, there's a lot out there![]()
