If anything, the two side by side confirms my view that the VE works best as a 'sporting' model and the VF works best as a 'luxury' model. The white VE Calais in that pic looks more sporting than the VF which looks very bling and luxo. I think the same is true for interiors - the VE Calais interior is pox for a luxury car whereas the VE SS interior is good for a no-nonsense sporting model. The VF interior is great as a Calais; the VF SS (etc) basically have a Calais interior.

So obviously the solution is to own both a VE SS and a VF Calais so your options are open depending on your mood
Are you saying that if you had a VF SS you would want it to come with the VE interior?
