Awesome job mate, only found this thread and love what you have done!!!

Where abouts did you get your seats trimmed if don't mind asking?

I also have a second hand lower dash door out of my E1 Maloo that had the little silver clip u touch fall out of it but after I replaced it found the silver touch piece and glued it back in, it seems as if it just has some kind of click on hinge system.

Definately doing a great job!! Keep up the good work!!

    Cheers, Anthony.

If you want to, black suede would look awesome... Give it a richer feel.

Anyway, It all ties in now! Your interior is very similar to how the Series IIs look with red. I have the combo and it's a similar look, however I like yours better haha.

Well done with your level of attention to detail, its the small things that make all the difference!
    Thanks mate
I know what your saying about the silver bits and it's why I've not changed them so far, do one and I'll have to do all and I just don't know if it will be to much, or if I can be bothered.

Exactly. It looks neat as it is at the moment anyway, the silver definately doesn't detract from the overall appearance. You've done a great job individualising the car, well done again.

Maybe get a silver power window switch and traction control button from the series II models? Would look sweet against the gloss black gear shift surround, and tie in with the silver dash strip and steering wheel?
And that's being fussy, looks awesome just the way it is. Love it mate, and the stereo just completes it!
Thanks mate your right the stereo completes it, so much so that I can't stop looking at it when I'm driving it, photos just don't do it any justice

    Hi Anthony
I had my seats trimmed by www.doylesleather.com they do great work and I highly recommend them, mate I was looking to get one of the lower dash door things but I think to put it in a ss you have to change part of the console and the lower part of the dash so I haven't bothered. Mite be some thing to look in to, that and the HSV triple gages

Mate they are just the cheap crap you find on eBay or at autobarn, they had LS on them but I didn't like it, so they ended up on the belt sander then the buff.
It was a bit of stuffing around But like I said they were cheap.
