^^^^ He would get a lot more credibility if he put up his hand and said sorry guys you were right, I was wrong.

    Gen 4 Martin

There were a couple of early test mule Adventras done but I didn't mention those as they weren't production cars.

No worries.....I was referring to HSV Avalanche.....ie, that there were no LS2s in them.
    Cheers, Pickles.

I believe the LS2 cars used an E-40 ecm, never seen mention of a CrossTrac engine loom to suit so I doubt it.

    For the non believers:

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/300902424...=p5197.c0.m619

    With the VIN #:
    6G1ZM34H76L825694

My GMH source tells me that this one has HSV options. So maybe they did make the 13 XUV's as test mules (seller is stating they made 13 XUV's). Certainly does not look like a XUV. Decided not to continue and sold them off as normal Crewmans?

Who knows. But either way, the VIN decode proves the existance of these cars.

Interesting that as a 2006 model it had an L98 rather than L76!

LOL it is the super rare 'one of 13 made' that is code for "has an invisable supercharger, top secret technology HSV are working on"

But your right, I would like to know where some of these sellers get their claims from. Even the 13 built with 6.0l engine is a bit out there, But I guess he must have got the info from somewhere.
