I'll wait until I see one in the flesh but they don't look very tough in the pics. Maybe it's just me?

This SS in Prussian Steel would look even better with the blacked-out trim around the grills and everywhere else.

Possibly they have gone with a softer leather? My XR6T 50th anniversary had softer leather like that.

They look better in the flesh for sure but it's still hard to tell you're looking at an SS rather than say, a Calais or Berlina type car. I think they should have made the front bar slightly more angular, although this may have detracted from the overall softer shape of the rear. HSV have done a good job in giving the look some more balls. I wonder if Holden have made a mistake here and made them too soft? I wouldn't be surprised if the refresh in a couple of years addresses this.

That was my comment a month or so ago when I saw the black left hand drive SS in Pakenham going the opposite way and then a bit later it went past me on the freeway. If I hadn't known what it was I wouldn't have given it a second look, even with the big gold Chev badge on the grille. Replace that with a Holden badge and it will just blend in. Very soft..........

I’ve always believed the front bar on the SS VE is much tougher looking on the Series 1 compared to the rounded Series 2.

Maybe Holden will reverse that with the VF and have a harder edge on the VF 2.

I agree, I don't think the VF SV/SS models look very tough. The Calais seems to fulfil its role better in the VF series, the sports models have lost something in the transition.

Still, it's this or....well, there's no competition and you can't wait for the all new one like you normally would as it will be a wrong wheel drive misery box, so what are you gonna do?

I can see the suspension shops rubbing their hands together.........

The interior (and all new tech stuff) seems to be the big selling point with the VF....I have only seen an Evoke ute last week and I must say the interior for the base model Commodore is very impressive...

The interior of the VF is just amazing.... This is the only thing that will keep these things selling in the short term... If I had a VE or E3 HSV I wouldn't be upgrading just yet....& if I didn't already have a deposit on the GTS... I'd be buying the Tourer Wagon.... But not one like this.... WTF are they thinking???
