They are said to be the bees knees, the ducks nuts, etc, well you get what i'm trying to say. They say that they can be connected up to your battery without disconnecting from the terminals.

Has anyone on here got one & how do you rate it?
They aren't badly priced either, depending on where you look.

    Thankyou.
i hav the 25amp/h ctek charger never takes more then 1 hour to start a flat battery

    Re: CTEK Battery Chargers

So time to dig up an old thread....

After my monaro ran flat again (due to only driving it every second weekend) battery had 3 volts in it.

I connected up my motorbike Ctek 0.8 amp for 24hr with no luck. So bought a MXS 5 off ebay for $69.99 delivered to my door.

    Received it the next day

here is the link if any one is interested

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CTEK-MXS5...item1c35620c8e

    Highly recommended. and great price

FYI - this model does have recond mode.

    Re: CTEK Battery Chargers

I am on my third CTEK 15000. Use them to recharge jump start pack, boat battery and / or deep cycle battery for camping fridge. The first two were replaced under warranty, so I can't complain about them backing up their product, but two failures each less than twelve months means I can't give a great reference for the CTEK.

I've had 2 Ctek's die on me too. I've still got one in use but I think I'd probably go a different brand next time.

I've got one that is 4 years old that's still working perfectly too. But a failure rate of 2/3 is hardly confidence inspiring.

Looks like you got a good one too.....

    Re: CTEK Battery Chargers

I was recommended a Projecta, 25amp so far so good. 6 months in at this stage. Previously I was using a battery charger I built myself, so its a little step up.
