What surprize ? Pushed to perform the parts will blow like cheap fake Chinese light bulbs.
- Everything comes at a price-
Note : Mega super cars have engine swap outs every few years for ~ 100K, their millionaire owners can afford to play the game.
anything that is supped up and LASTS, sorry it's just not supped up ENOUGH! :-)
Our police force I don't think they have excess cash for this in the long term.
Maybe in their price range a Rolla would do? (After all half the clowns they are normally chasing can't really drive compared to a trained police person, even on push bike they will meet up with where the clown has regrettably wrapped themselves around something. )
My bet is HSV and Walkinshaw won't be to happy about this. It shows their product isn't able to handle mere Police duties. The tuner should publicly admit fault or HSV and Walkinshaw might raise a defamation case against him. In the least you would think Walkinshaw would at least remove their franchise from the workshop at fault
By all articles I read the GTS was supposedly a very minimal use duty car and to be used as promotional vehicle for the force.
I would like to think that a workshop would guarantee its product, be it plastic clips, tunes, tires etc to be upto task. surely durability testing would have thrown more than a few hundred klms of plodding around that the police would of done and survived.
Look there is obviously a failure somewhere and when more comes to light it can be shared. Would be good if this responsible could comment as this is the ducks nuts of all HSVs and it's broken, bit of a let down.

Something that sticks out like dogs nuts and police always under public scrutiny is doubt they would of got a chance to give it a flogging.
In saying that though regardless is pretty poor to fubar so early, is this an LSA issue or aftermarket issue, that's really what I'm getting at and LSA owners would want to know also.

What's actually wrong with the engine?
Lolll would like to know the whole story, even with enormous police stupidity how do you break a VF GTS supercharger, motor AND gearbox by idling for too long? Unless they had it on limiter the whole time haha.
